I love riding my bicycle…and I love our four dogs.
Speaking of love, our largest dog Chewie (65 pounds) loves going out and about whether for a walk or a ride in the car. Thanks to Amazon, Discount Ramps, and Lucky Dog (who actually makes the trailer), Chewie now loves joining dad on his rides. 🙂
This inexpensive pet trailer is visually appealing, well built, and easy to assemble. It also can be folded into a much smaller space (although that requires a few steps). It may seem a bit small when you look at it for a dog Chewie’s size…but you can see from the video how well he fit. Yes, if weather is such you need to close it, then a medium/large dog is going to be resting in the carrier (versus standing up)…but Chewie was comfortable doing that too. (We had to start off the first ride with it zipped closed, because he tried to get out of the trailer when I first started pedaling.)
I couldn’t be happier with this product. The pictures and video are from Chewie’s first ride. Even though I was home late and had to rush before it was totally dark…I’m glad I unpacked and assembled it, and headed out on the road. Chewie was glad too. 🙂
(Please go 6 minutes into the video to see Chewie after I was able to open up the front.)
